Out Of Hours
For advice out of hours please call NHS Direct, a 24-hour nurse-led helpline, on 0845 4647 or Emdoc on 020 8676 7424.
Emdoc is an emergency service who will pass your request on to the Duty Doctor. This service cannot take any other sort of message from patients, such as making surgery appointments or dealing with requests for repeat prescriptions.
It is more appropriate in extreme emergencies (eg severe chest pain, collapse) to dial 999 for an ambulance. Accident victims should go to the Accident & Emergency Department at the Princess Royal Hospital.
Walk-In Centres
